Knowledge and Skills:
- Knowledge of translation, multilingual desktop publishing and/or software localization project management
- Working knowledge of standard Microsoft Office software
- Fluent in English. Fluency in at least one other language preferred
- Bachelors degree with four or more years of experience in translation, localization or internationalization
- Experience establishing project definitions, scheduling, working with in-house and contract resources, meeting deadlines and using translation tools (for example, Trados suite of tools, HTML tools, etc.)
- Experience planning and monitoring projects to meet deadline, quality and budget requirements
- Experience managing client relationships; serving as a primary day-to-day contact for external clients
- Strong customer service, negotiation and problem-solving skills
- Excellent organizational skills
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- PMI or other certification preferred but not required
