Globalization Services Information Intranet (GSII) Launched

Globalization Partners International (GPI), a provider of document, website and software globalization services, announced the launch of its new Globalization Services Information IntranetSM (GSII). GSII is a fully customizable, internet-based communication and collaboration portal designed to give companies immediate, secure and global access to all of their translation, localization and internationalization project and team information. GPI hosts and customizes the portal based on a client’s requirements.

“One of the main requirements of GSII was to allow us to securely collaborate on a global basis with teams of translators, editors, engineers, graphic designers and project managers in over 35 countries, AND to allow our clients to do the same with their teams of in-country reviewers,” says Martin Spethman, GPI’s Managing Partner. “These professionals can be spread out over several countries, even on 2-3 language projects, and may be working from corporate offices, research institutions and/or home offices.”

“Our clients need to communicate with their own global teams and interface with us. Our offering to them was simple: a fully customizable, internet-based communication and collaboration portal, and we can have them up and running in under a week,” says Mariano Drzazga, GPI’s Global IT Manager. “GPI and its clients use GSII to send and pick up project deliverables, manage translation and QA workflows, share multilingual glossaries and translation memory, view status reports and even subscribe to project status information for automatic email updates.”
