GPI translates Olympic Bid website

Globalization Partners International (GPI) translates the Washington, DC 2012 Coalition Olympic Bid website into Spanish. The localized version of the website was created in order to demonstrate the region’s ability to deliver multilingual content to the potential millions of global viewers and visitors who are sure to tune into the Games in 2012 if the DC-Baltimore areas are selected as the host.

As a bid city under the formal name Washington, DC 2012, CRC 2012 is endorsed by the DC Chamber of Commerce, Fairfax County Chamber of Commerce, Greater Washington Board of Trade, the Federal City Council, the Greater Baltimore Alliance and the Greater Baltimore Committee. Resolutions of support have also been passed by the city councils of Washington and Baltimore, the Baltimore Metropolitan Council, the Metropolitan Washington Council of Governments, the Arlington County (VA) Board and the Fairfax County (VA) Board of Supervisors.

The Washington, DC 2012 Coalition. (CRC 2012) is a not for profit 501(c)(3) organization established to bid on the 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games. Its board of directors is comprised of 68 board members including (31) business leaders from the region; five appointments made by each of the mayor's of Washington and Baltimore, two appointments made by each of the governor's of Maryland and Virginia, (seventeen) regional athletes and sports personalities and the president and chief executive officer.
