GSII receives SIIA Codie Awards nomination
Globalization Partners International (GPI), a provider of website and software globalization services, received a finalist nomination from the SIIA for its Globalization Services Information IntranetSM (GSII). GPI’s globalization information portal GSII was chosen as one of five finalists for the Software & Information Industry Association’s (SIIA) 18th Annual Codie Awards for the Best Enterprise Portal Platform category.
GSII is a fully customizable, internet-based communication and collaboration portal designed to give companies immediate, secure and global access to all of their translation, localization and internationalization project and team information. GPI hosts and customizes the portal based on a client’s globalization services requirements.
“There is tremendous amount of information companies need to track and share globally when working on localization projects,” says Martin Spethman, GPI’s Managing Partner for the USA. “What has made GSII very popular with clients is that their teams only need a web browser to utilize the portal, and they incur no additional IT or support costs. Most localization budgets are already strained and clients need to localize significantly more content whether in software applications, websites or documents with less money and fewer people. GSII gives a company their own branded portal where they can assign various access rights to anyone involved in globalization within their company and collaborate with any number of virtual team members they select. Clients use GSII to pick up project deliverables, manage translation and QA workflows, share multilingual glossaries, view status reports complete with comprehensive task lists and calendars, and even subscribe to project status information for automatic email updates. We are thrilled our clients and the SIIA recognize the value of our Globalization Services Information IntranetSM (GSII).”
“The Codie Awards finalists reflect the very best products and services produced by the creative code and content industry. These companies should all be congratulated for their tremendous work," said Ken Wasch, SIIA president. "The finalists all make clear that the digital code and content industry is as vibrant and innovative as ever.”
