GPI selected by the Inter-American Economic Council

Globalization Partners International (GPI), a provider of document, website and software globalization services, has been selected by the Inter-American Economic Council (www.inter-american.org) to design and develop their new multilingual database-driven website.

"In order to keep our members and constituents up-to-date on the latest developments in the Western Hemisphere, we needed a dynamic, multilingual website which our staff could update on a daily basis in real time and without keeping a technical webmaster on salary full time," said Barry Featherman, President IAEC. "After researching a multitude of website localization firms, we chose GPI to design and develop our new multilingual website".

"Many firms have the same set of primary requirements for their next generation websites," said Martin Spethman, GPI's Managing Partner. "Companies want a simple design, multilingual content, and some type of web content management system which allows their non-technical staff to make changes and control content instantly."

GPI was selected from five other potential translation vendors and the project took six weeks from design approval through development and launch. The Inter-American Economic Council (IAEC) is a Washington, DC based, non-profit, membership-driven organization whose mission is to bridge the existing gap between the public and private sectors for the collateral advancement of Western Hemisphere economic development.
