Translation Portal Released

Globalization Partners International (GPI), a provider of website, software and documentation globalization services, announced today that it has launched its new Translation Services Portal www.translationportal.com. The portal provides Membership Organizations, Franchises, Incubators, ISP’s, and Corporations a secure, enterprise-wide or membership-wide site that is uniquely branded and customized according to a client’s requirements. GPI provides individually branded versions of the portal along with free hosting and support.

“We initially developed the customizable translation portal for a client who wanted to provide all of their 230 global offices with a central place to get document translation quotes, submit projects and check online status reports,” said Mariano Drzazga, GPI’s Global IT Manager. “Our portal allowed the worldwide translation purchasing manager to generate various user reports and have the ability to approve quotes whenever any one from any office submitted a quote request. The company was also able to secure volume discount pricing and ensure the utilization of approved client-specific glossaries on all translation projects by coordinating translation procurement using the Portal.”

“Many organizations want to further their own branding and provide their offices and/or members with additional support services,” said Martin Spethman, GPI’s Managing Partner. “Now these organizations can offer their members and/or worldwide offices discount translation services by consolidating volumes through their portals. The portal allows for 24/7 real-time access to estimates for document translation projects in over 40 languages and the ability to submit files for actual quotes and projects. GPI hosts and customizes the portal for free so there are no additional IT burdens or costs for these organizations.”
