Globalization Partners International (GPI) awarded in two Web Marketing Association Internet Advertising 2006 Competition categories.

Globalization Partners International (GPI), a provider of website, software and document translation services, announced today that two of its corporate websites, www.globalizationpartners.com and www.globalwidgets.com were awarded for Outstanding Achievement by the Web Marketing Association (WMA). The Web Marketing Association is the sponsor of the “The WebAward Competition”, the premier showcase for Web site development in more than 96 industry categories.

GPI’s corporate website www.globalizationpartners.com was a winner in the Best Professional Services Microsite/Landing page category. “Our corporate website was designed and developed using Adobe and Macromedia’s MX Suite and is an example of utilizing global best practices for the design, development and deployment of multilingual websites,” says Martin Spethman, GPI’s Managing Partner. “We designed the site in order showcase our own multilingual website creation and translation capabilities, and combined audio, video, a persuasive architecture and a clear conversion path in the site to help educate and convert potential clients”.

GPI’s viral marketing site www.globalwidgets.com was a winner in the Best International Business Interactive application category. “Globalwidgets started as part of a suite of in-house translator and translation project management tools that we turned into a viral marketing site,” says Ken Renfro, GPI’s Production Director. “It is a very useful, interactive application for any translation, business and/or web professional.”
