Testing: Websites

GPI includes basic website online QA as part of any website globalization effort. This includes testing your localized website utilizing one browser/OS combination to ensure the language versions of your site do not have any linguistic, stylistic or basic functionality issues.

Additional website testing services are client-driven. GPI can perform internationalization (I18N), localization (L10N) and/or functionality testing in one of our facilities, or our professionals can go onsite and work side-by-side with your expert users. GPI also works with several offshore testing labs and teams of consumer end users configured to perform a variety of country-specific website and Web application QA/testing services.

Internationalization Testing involves testing the source language website for international support and localizability.

Localization Testing is conducted after your website has been localized. A dedicated GPI Globalization Services Team (GST) tests the website under a client-specified array of browser/OS combinations in context to check for any linguistic or stylistic issues.

Functionality Testing is conducted after your website has been localized and tests to verify that your application or site works properly for your target users. Proper platforms, browsers and test scripts are used to ensure the experience of the target user will be as good as if the application was developed specifically for his/her market.
