Ahmed is a native Arabic speaker from Egypt, Cairo. He has over 15 years’ experience in the translation and localization field working as a Hebrew – Arabic translator and editor. He has held positions as a Language Testing Engineer and Localization Project Manager. Ahmed has extensive experience in handling large volume translation projects for software and document localization. He has worked for a range of translation and localization companies including Microsoft, Babylon, Saudisoft, as well as several governmental authorities.He holds a B.A. degree in Translation and Interpreting from Faculty of Alsun Ain Shams University and additionally is a certified Hebrew - Arabic translator with a High Translation professional diploma from the same faculty. He is a published author translating news articles and writing political analysis with contributions to an array of research centers and newspapers including AL Aharam, Beirut Political Centre, Aldiplomasy Magazine, and Lindro Italian News, to name a few.

Alexis is a Spanish native-speaker from Soldini, Argentina a little town near Rosario. He is a Systems Engineer and graduated from Universidad Abierta Interamericana. He holds a certification in CCNA 1 and is working towards his Microsoft Azure Essentials certification. He has experience in ISO 27001 security audits and compliance. Previously he worked as a System Administrator for Transdatos SA designing and implementing new network connections to ensure connectivity across the company. In addition, he evaluated security measures and provided recommendations for improvements. He also worked at RWS Moravia, a global localization provider, working as a Service Desk Specialist supporting all of the employees IT needs while creating documentation for processes and procedures and enhancing companywide security measures through security audits detecting malware, ransomware and other threats. In his free time he enjoys hanging out with friends and family, cooking meals (mostly asados) and spending quality time with them. He loves traveling is always thinking about his next adventure!

Andrea is a native Spanish speaker from Córdoba, Argentina. She went to the School of Languages (Facultad de Languages, Universidad Nacional de Córdoba) to become an English Translator. She worked as a freelance translator for several years and has more than 12 years of experience working as a Project Manager at different translation agencies including CQ Fluency, Akorbi and Amplexor.She has managed a wide range of translation and localization projects of different sizes and formats and into more than 80 languages. Carla is a Graphic Designer with more than 10 years experience working in desktop publishing and design. She is a native of Rosario, Argentina. Over the years she has worked at several localization companies including RWS Moravia and Translations.com. She focused mainly on multilingual desktop publishing and eLearning localization projects. She also worked in the Graphic Design department in C.A. Newell’s Old Boys, the famous Soccer team, completing large editorial, advertising and web projects. She has extensive experience with authoring and design applications including InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Storyline, and HTML, just to list a few. She holds a degree in Sworn, Literary, Technical, and Scientific Translation from the Instituto Nacional de Enseñanza Superior Olga Cossettini in Rosario, Argentina. Starting her career as a translator for English-Spanish/Spanish-English in 1990, over the years she has worked for several Translation Agencies as a translator, assistant project manager, senior project manager, global production manager and currently as Managing Partner and Owner at Globalization Partners International. She has completed a wide range of professional certifications in document and website localization with emphasis on translation, budgeting, quality control and project management, including The Localization Institute’s Triple Certification in Localization Project Management (Localization Institute Chico, CA, USA). Dina is an Egyptian linguist who is a native Arabic speaker. She specializes in the language pair EnAR. After graduating from the Faculty of Arts, English Literature and Language department, Cairo University, she started off her translation career as a freelancer. Later she provided translation, editing and various linguistic services to an array of Egyptian localization agencies on a fulltime basis. She has held various positions including Senior Reviewer at Bayan Tech and Language Quality Lead at Midlocalize. In addition, Dina has translated a collection of books on simplified science, and considers her translation of “The Beginning of Infinity” by Dr. David Deutsch to be one of her most prominent works. Dina also acquired an Applied Linguistics diploma from the Faculty of Arts, and a Pre-School Special Education Professional Diploma from the faculty of Early Childhood Education, Cairo University. Farah is a native Arabic speaker born and residing in Cairo, Egypt. She received her degree in Commerce and English from Ain-Shams University studying marketing, management, economics and accounting. Iván Reiner

Iván is a native Spanish speaker from Rosario, Argentina. He holds a technical degree in Graphic Design from Escuela Provincial de Artes Visuales (EPAV) and a postgraduate degree from Facultad de Arquitectura, Planeamiento y Diseño, Universidad Nacional de Rosario (FAPyD, UNR) as well as several training certifications in editorial and typographic design. Juan is a native Spanish speaker from La Paz, Entre Ríos, Argentina. He graduated from the Universidad Tecnológica Nacional, Facultad Regional Santa Fe with a degree in Information Systems Engineering. While a student, he was active in several open source interest groups and worked on freelance development projects for global companies. He has conducted seminars on a range of development topics from source control versioning to UI development tools. He has extensive experience with different technologies including .NET framework, .NET core, JavaScript, NodeJS, WCF, SQL Server, MongoDB and Cassandra.Throughout his career he has worked as a full-stack developer with software companies including Diveria SRL and Kinetica Solutions. He currently leads the global GPI development team responsible for designing, developing and deploying a range of translation project management applications, translation portals as well as API’s and plugins to the world’s leading content management systems including Sitecore, HubSpot, Xperience, Kentico, Umbraco and Episerver, to name a few. Mohamed Abdullah

Mohamed is a native Arabic speaker from Suez, Egypt. He graduated from the Faculty of Arts, Department of Translation, and studied at the Industrial Technical Institute (2 years). He also received a Diploma of Petroleum Sciences (1 year) from the Petroleum Ministry. He started programming in 2009 and received a diploma for programming coursework from AGC Academy in Egypt. Mai Farouk Mohamed Nour (Mai Nour) is a native Arabic speaker who lives in Cairo, Egypt. Mohamed Helmy Ali

Mohamed is a native Arabic speaker from Giza, Egypt. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from Sebha University and has more than 9 years of experience in localization engineering and management. He has held a range of localization positions at Saudisoft, an Egypt based localization service provider including localization engineer, senior localization engineer, project manager and team lead for the games division which included translators, project managers, localization engineers and desktop publishers. He was also active as the company’s internal ISO auditor from 2013 until 2020. After Saudisoft, he worked at Euro-Com as a project manager/localization engineer specializing in technical and demanding client projects which require a localization engineering background to complete. He also developed numerous workflows after studying the current processes and reassess if needed to ensure optimal solutions were in place. He has extensive experience in multiple of CAT tools, translation management systems (TMS) and project management systems (PMS). Mohamed Mazen

A native Arabic speaker from Cairo, Egypt he graduated from the Faculty of Commerce in Sohag, Egypt. Martin Spethman

Mr. Spethman has over thirty years of experience providing documentation, software and website translation services. He graduated from Carroll College in Helena, Montana with a degree in Business Administration and began his career in 1985 with Worldwide Communications Corporation, a Tokyo-based developer of machine translation software and services. He served in both administrative and business development positions in their Chicago and Miami offices. In 1989 he founded MS Language & Technology, Inc., a Miami-based translation and desktop publishing agency. After three years of profitable operation serving over 140 clients including IBM, Walt Disney World, Marriott, and AT&T, the company was purchased by Chicago Multi-lingual Graphics (CML). After taking a sabbatical to write and publish two books, he returned to the translation services profession, and from 1994 - 2001 served in key executive management roles with localization agencies Welocalize, InterPro and Lazoski, Beninatto (later becoming Language Management International / Berlitz).Throughout his career, Mr. Spethman has held numerous production and sales positions, including Project Manager, Operations Manager, Web Master, Account Executive, VP of Sales and Marketing and Managing Partner. He has established and managed translation offices in Argentina, Brazil, Egypt, Switzerland, the United Arab Emirates and the United States. He has overseen hundreds of successful translation projects each year since 1987, ranging from large volume, multi-million word documentation sets to complex, high-profile websites for Fortune 1000 companies, SME’s, governments, global interactive agencies and nonprofits.

Since 2019, Mark has worked with several Language Services Companies providing strategic advice, and with Private Equity and High Net Worth individuals, delivering industry insight and pre- and post-acquisition due diligence.Prior, Mark worked in Luxembourg from 2010 as CEO of a start-up document management business, later working as a consultant for the owners of a language services company in Continental Europe. In 2015, moving back to London, Mark was appointed CEO of a UK based Language Services Provider where he oversaw exponential growth and geographical expansion positioning the company as one of the largest LSPs in Northern Europe and now positioned in the Top 100 globally by revenues.
In the mid-1990s, when leading European Sales for the RR Donnelley Financial Services Group (now DFIN), his region became the largest buyer of translation services from the internal languages division, which later evolved into Donnelley Language Solutions. In 2005, Mark was appointed Senior Vice President, Managing Director International, with responsibility for all businesses outside the Americas. In the latter part of his tenure at Donnelley Mark took responsibility for the Language Solutions Group as part of his portfolio of businesses.
Mark has a Masters’ Degree in Asia Pacific Studies from the University of Leeds and is based in London, wishes he could still play Rugby, while remaining an avid supporter, and plays the occasional rounds of golf and gardening.

Natanael Arrejín

Natanael Arrejín is a native Spanish speaker born in Rosario, Argentina. He has 10 years of experience in multilingual design and desktop publishing including skills on both Mac and PC platforms with application expertise in Adobe Systems Software (including structured and unstructured FrameMaker, InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop and others). Natanael also has Web Design & Web Development experience including HTML, CSS, PHP, JavaScript and CMSs like WordPress, Drupal, Joomla or Magento. His recent training and experience include what is known as Progressive Web Apps (PWA), with a focus on best practices to convert a WordPress site into a full responsive PWA. He is a passionate worker in desktop and web design and enjoys creating integral solutions for every project he is involved in. He has traveled and worked throughout South America.
Peter Betts
Director: Global Business Engagement
Peter has over 25 years’ experience in business development within the localization industry supporting clients and successfully delivering documentation, software and website globalization services. He started his career in the translation industry in 1995 and over the years has worked for several leading localization service providers including LMI, Berlitz, Welocalize, and Globalization Partners International. Throughout his career Peter has led by example and always put his clients’ needs first to ensure client expectations are understood and successfully met. Over the years Peter has trained extensively in Solution Selling, Action Selling and Localization Sales, Testing and Project Management.Peter handles a variety of key global accounts helping educate clients on GPI’s comprehensive suite of globalization services and industry best practices. In his free time he enjoys hiking, travel and spending time with his family.

Rabab Malek
Director: Language Technology Development
Rabab is a native Arabic speaker from Cairo, Egypt. She has over 12 years’ experience in software and websites architecture and implementation using open source programming tools including PHP, MySQL as well as jQuery, JSON and Ajax. She has served with various companies including Pyramid Technologies, Link-Dot-Net and InTouch Communications as a Programmer, Systems Engineer – Developer and Lead Web Developer.She earned her B.Sc. Degree in Economics with a minor in Computer Science from Cairo University. She completed an SSDP Diploma from the Information Technology Institute (IDSC), The Cabinet and is a certified Cloud Business Associate and a Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP, MCAD and MCSD.NET). Over the years she has designed and implemented a range of localized web-based business applications and portals for clients in the finance, hospitality, telecommunications and e-commerce sectors.
In her free time, she enjoys traveling, reading, photography, swimming, tennis and outdoor activities.

Rebecca Polintang
Director: Global Digital Marketing
Rebecca has 15 years’ experience working for luxury hotel brands and celebrity Chef restaurants in the United Arab Emirates. At the age 16, she was awarded by the Department of Science & Technology – Science Education Institute of the Philippines, a full University scholarship and earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Technology, majoring in Computer Engineering Technology. She graduated Cumlaude and received an offer for the position of Data Analyst in a reputable US-based Medical Research transcriber in the Philippines. A few years later she moved to Dubai and has been enjoying the year-round sunshine in the UAE for 15 years and counting. Throughout her hotel marketing career, Rebecca’s skills in Digital Marketing contributed measurable success to a range of remarkable events such as the world’s richest horse race, the Dubai World Cup; Sensation concerts with White Dubai; and the launch of the first Middle Eastern, Marco’s New York Italian restaurant by Hell’s Kitchen celebrity chef, Marco Pierre White. When she’s not busy optimizing digital campaigns, Rebecca’s free-spirited nature will lead her to the beach, or staying, dining and reviewing new hotels and restaurants. She also enjoys daily meditation.
Rasha Sayyed
Desktop Publishing Specialist
Rasha is a Cairo - based Arabic speaker who graduated from Ain-Shams University with a Bachelor of Alsun (languages) where she studied Turkish and Farsi. She has over 12 years’ experience in the multilingual desktop publishing and design field for several companies including Elocalize and Future-Group. She provided desktop publishing, technical authoring and quality assurance for a range of international clientele. She has completed a wide variety of Arabic and other language desktop publishing projects using a range of technical documentation authoring applications including Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop and Frame Maker. She also has worked extensively with Microsoft Office tools like MS Word, MS PowerPoint, Excel and Publisher. In her free time, she enjoys cooking and travelling
Sebastian Di Giura
Localization Project Manager
Sebastián is a native Spanish speaker from Rosario, Argentina. Over the years he has worked in the localization industry as a desktop publisher, graphic designer, web developer and most recently a project coordinator. Since 2011 he has worked for several language service providers in Argentina including TransPerfect, Moravia and Digiworkers. He has worked on a range of web and eLearning projects involving animations using tools and technologies including HTML5, WordPress, and CSS3, to name a few. He studied a year abroad in Germany for university and in his free time, enjoys travel, music, culture, and learning languages.
Sara Luraschi
Desktop Publishing Specialist
Sara is a native Spanish speaker from Rosario, Argentina. She holds a degree in Graphic Design from the Escuela Superior de Diseño in Rosario. She has extensive experience and certifications including training in Typography and Orthotypography. She started her career working as a Graphic Designer and Illustrator for several apparel companies in Argentina including Ticket and Inside. She also worked with the Communications Department of Newell’s Old Boys as a Graphic Designer. To date, she brings almost ten years of experience in multilingual graphic design and over two in the desktop publishing field. In her spare time, she likes going out for a coffee and a chat with friends as well as enjoying cinema, drawing, reading, writing and playing records.
Sarah Quirke
Global Business Engagement Specialist
Sarah is a Global Business Engagement Specialist based in Dubai, UAE. She started her localization services career with Merrill Brink and United Language Group working on account teams managing top tier clients in the medical, pharmaceutical and CRO space throughout Europe and the USA. She worked on projects including important IFUs and DFUs, packaging, clinical trials and training materials as well as a range of service types including interpretations, voiceovers, website translations and document translations. Her previous roles have included Strategic Account Management, Business Development and Project Coordination.Originally from London, Sarah holds a Master’s Degree in International Management and a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Studies from the prestigious King’s College London, majoring both of her degrees in marketing.
Outside of work, Sarah enjoys spending time traveling and exploring new places as well as horse riding.

Shiyi Tang
Localization Project Manager
Shiyi Tang is a native Chinese speaker from Changdu, China. She graduated with a Master’s Degree in Translation and Localization Management from Middlebury Institute of International Studies at Monterey, California. She completed her one-year internship at VMware Research and Development Office as a localization project manager. Her undergraduate studies were completed at Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunications where she earned a degree in English Language and Literature. She speaks Chinese, English and French. She has experience with technical documentation management, website localization, software internationalization and localization, multilingual desktop publishing, SEO localization as well as audio and visual localization. She is familiar with various CAT tools, including SDL Trados, SDL WorldServer, MemoQ, and Memsource, etc. She also has a good understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Python, and SQL. In her free time she enjoys cooking and traveling.
Shigeru Tsutsumi
Director: Global Business Development (APAC)
Shigeru Tsutsumi is a native Japanese speaker with 20+ year’s extensive experience in the translation & localization industry. He has held a variety of language, technology and management positions including managing director Japan, business development manager, translator, software localization specialist, QA lead, and senior localization project manager with firms including Cisco, Intel, Linguistic Systems, The Big Word and Welocalize.He is a Washington State University alumni and graduated with a degree in Business Administration. He has spent many years in the Pacific Northwest (USA) and has traveled and worked throughout Europe and Japan. He has a comprehensive awareness, understanding and respect for global business practices between US and Japan, as well as many other countries.
He enjoys spending time with his family both in the USA and Japan as well as reading, cooking, traveling, running, working out, snow skiing and playing rugby.

Vimal Panicker

Vimal Panicker is from Mumbai, India, and currently lives in Dubai, UAE. He has 7 years of experience in the translation and localization industry including roles in project management and account management. He has worked with a range of clientele from manufacturing, hotel & hospitality, legal, government and interactive agencies from around the world. He has extensive experience working with various translation and project management platforms, tools, processes and practices for companies including Merrill Brink and United Language Group.Vimal holds a Bachelors Degree in Commerce from Mumbai University and has completed the dual certification in Global Digital Marketing & Localization from Boeing Institute of International Business, Saint Louis University.
He loves working with a culturally-diverse team and believes in exceeding client expectations.
