Navigating the New World of AI
AI is in the news daily and its impact is far-reaching. To ensure it is used ethically, the Council of Europe, a human rights organization, has adopted the AI Treaty.
The treaty, negotiated by 57 countries, including the US and Britain, focuses on developing, deploying, and using AI within the EU marketplace ethically and safeguarding human rights.
It also outlines the requirements that parties must adopt to make sure that AI is not used to negatively impact democracy.
