The Company

Globalization Partners International (GPI) was founded in Washington, DC in 2001 by a global team of language and technology professionals with a history of delivering comprehensive translation services to companies around the world. Our team’s core mission is to help companies communicate and conduct business in any language and in any locale.

Our suite of key tools & technologies help our clients translate content in a more cost-effective, consistent and culturally correct manner.

We currently work with professionals worldwide in over 100 languages and a multitude of translation disciplines utilizing technology to deliver great service on a global basis. We have over 7,500 translators, interpreters, copywriters, web design and development specialists, localization project managers and engineers networked via our Globalization Project Management Suite® (GPMS).

Our custom translation connectors for industry leading web content management systems, marketing automation platforms and web applications streamline localization workflows and provide access to translation project information across an enterprise, helping our clients deliver global content faster and more economically.

GPI is a member of GALA (Globalization and Localization Association www.gala-global.org) and ATA (American Translators Association www.atanet.org) as well as various chambers and business organization across the globe.

GPI has contributed to the fields of translation, localization and global business through its thought leadership, research, sponsorships and content contributions with major academic institutions, publications, conferences and translation programs around the world including Saint Louis University John Cook School of Business Executive Education Program "Executive Certificate in Web Globalization Management" and The Localization Institute and University of North Carolina Wilmington’s “Digital Marketing and Localization Certification”.

GPI’s website localization offering has been responsible for some of the highest-profile, highest-traffic multilingual web properties ever launched including McDonald’s Olympic Games GoActive site into six languages, Boeing’s worldwide promotional site for their new aircraft into five languages and the Live Earth 2007 Concerts into 19 languages, which was the most-watched entertainment event in online history at that time.
