ISO 17100:2015 provides basic requirements for a translation agency’s core processes, resources, and other aspects necessary to complete quality translation services that meet applicable ISO specifications.

ATC Certification Service for the ISO 17100:2015 standard certifies that a translation agency’s management system meets the requirements of the ISO standard. The translation services ISO standard focuses on key areas of organizing and delivering translation services including:

An ISO 17100:2015 standard certification audits a translation agency’s documented processes and retention of records or documented evidence related to each of the above areas. The standard details requirements for all aspects of the translation process, which impacts quality and delivery of translation services.
